November 2016 – New Pattern Releases

By Toriska

The Yuletide Stocking is a simple and festive stocking design with several cuff and toe shapes.  This stocking is beautiful in any fabric, including velvet, brocade, home decor cotton, or quilting cotton.  Use piping, embroidery, or other embellishments to create custom, beautiful stockings for your whole family. This sewing pattern is suitable for a confident beginner. There are instructions for making the stocking with or without the cuff.

This pattern includes 14 pages of instructions, including detailed illustrations.  There are 16 pages of pattern pieces, but only 5 are needed for each style of stocking.  Instructions are given about which pages to print.  Pattern dimensions are given in inches and centimeters. The pattern can be printed on letter or A4 paper.

See more tester photos on my blog entry about this pattern.

Full-color photos and illustrations accompany detailed, tutorial-style instructions. I provide two sewing methods to create the Reusalbe Beverage sleeve, using 3/8″ elastic or elastic bobbin thread. Cut out the fabric with either the printable pattern included or use a rotary cutter and cutting mat with the dimensions I provide. I include tips for using elastic thread as well as links to tutorials. A team of testers with a wide variety of sewing experience vetted both sewing options.
